Starlite 2018: Marbella's Boutique Music Festival Announces Line-Up and Events

The Starlite festival based in Marbella has become an important annual social and cultural event since it began 6 years ago. Set in Marbella’s quarry in a natural amphitheatre surrounded by the tropical vegetation that is indigenous to the famous coastline, Starlite hosts a star-studded month long schedule of events each summer. Previous acts have included such widely recognised artists as Enrique Iglesias, Elton John, Lenny Kravitz, Lionel Richie, Andrea Bocelli, Ricky Martin, Tom Jones, Pet Shop Boys and Eros Ramazzotti.

The boutique festival will be held this year between mid-July and mid-August (dates TBA) at the Cantera de Nagüeles. Confirmed performers include Sting, James Blunt, Il Divo, Sara Baras (a prestigious and Internationally acclaimed Spanish Dancer) and Spanish stars such as David Bisbal and Estopa.

Aside from musical performances not to be missed, the festival will offer a wide range of bars and a restaurant featuring a live cooking concept divided by market stalls. Think designer Spanish tapas and a wide selection of thematic kitchens to choose from, and to enjoy with family and friends in large open-air chill-out spaces with ambient music and a team of waiters at your disposal!

The Starlite Gala, now one of the largest charity events in Spain is also set to be hosted by Antonio Banderas and Sandra García-Sanjuán. The charity foundation seeks to raise funds for educating, training and improving the lives of underprivileged children and families. Further information on the event is due to be announced shortly.
