Nobu Hotel opens in Marbella

The Nobu Hotel chain has acquired the Puente Romano Beach Resort & Spa in Marbella to expand their portfolio. Nobu have launched the hotel with a new name, Nobu Hotel Marbella. The first Nobu Hotel was launched in 2013 in Caesars Palace Las Vegas. Nobu Hotel then expanded its portfolio by entering the Asian market with its property in Manila, Philippines in 2014. The hospitality group currently operates seven hotels, which it has planned to expand to 15 by 2020.

The Puente Romano Beach Resort & Spa in Marbella with its stunning sea views of the sparkling Mediterranean had long been considered one of the primary luxury destinations on the sunny Costa del Sol. With its beach front location, scenic surroundings, and convenient access to Málaga airport via a modern road infrastructure, the now-named Nobu Hotel Marbella shall prove the ideal location for not only long stay guests, but also international business people looking for a luxurious short stop-over.

The acquisition by the world renowned Nobu Hotel brand, owned by Robert de Niro, celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa, and Hollywood producer Meir Teper, serves only to raise the prestige of this resort as well as the surrounding area attracting an international clientele looking for the best experience from a holiday stay while enjoying the beautiful weather and exciting night-life and numerous attractions that Marbella and nearby Puerto Banus have to offer. The choice of Marbella for their new acquisition by Nobu Hotel reflects the growing confidence that more and more major international brands have in the Costa del Sol amid a resurgent economy resulting in a major uptick of foreign investment in both the hotel industry and Costa del Sol luxury property market.
