'Van Gogh Alive', an immersive multi-sensory exhibition celebrating the work of the Dutch master has officially landed in Malaga. Showing through June 9th in the cities famous port, the multimedia exhibition takes viewers on a multi-sensory journey through the work and mind of the famous post-impressionist painter - and is the latest addition to the vast cultural landscape now on offer in the closest city to the famous Costa del Sol.

Now among the world's most visited multimedia exhibition experiences ever, 'Van Gogh Alive' immerses the viewer entirely in the vibrant colours and vivid details that constitutes Van Gogh's unique painting style.

Featuring 40 HD projectors and six meter tall screens spread across an 800 square metre tent, the immersive environment presents 3,000 large-scale images synchronised to a powerful classical music score; filling walls, columns, ceilings and even the floors. See the constellations in 'Starry Nights' move and crows take flight in the 'Wheatfield with Crows' in a hyper-fine detailed journey to Arles, Saint Rémy, and Auvers-sur-Oise where the artist painted most of his works.

Presented by Nomad Art, a pyrotechnics and special effects company specialising in multimedia and pyrotechnic shows, the immersive experience has garnered record-breaking visitor numbers in 45 countries on four continents. The exhibition has travelled through Seville, Alicante and Madrid and offers a unique alternative to the traditional museum visit.

Malaga is home to numerous cultural attractions, including the Picasso Museum, Pompidou and CAC Malaga, and offers an array of experiences to residents and visitors located along the Costa del Sol.
