Malaga boasts the highest number of top-rated beaches in Andalucia

Once again, the province has earned the most blue flags along its coastline in the region ...

Summer is right around the corner, and there's no better place to be than the Costa del Sol in Southern Spain! We're thrilled to share that Malaga has once again topped the list of Andalucian provinces with the highest number of blue flags along its coastline.

For those who don't know, the blue flag is a prestigious recognition awarded to European beaches and marinas that meet excellent standards for facilities and environmental conditions. This year, a whopping 39 beaches and six marinas in Malaga will fly the blue flag from June onwards.

The list of beaches that made the cut is impressive and includes some of the best in the region. Here are just a few examples:

• Mijas: Calahonda I (Royal Beach - La Luna), El Bombo, El Chaparral (nueva), La Cala
