Malaga City - A great Investment

A recent list of urban getaways, compiled by Forbes magazine and excluding capital cities, has placed Malaga at the top of the rankings. The list was based on Google search data from 420 cities in 89 countries, conducted by Premier Inn hotel chain, with Malaga being the most sought-after non-capital destination with an annual total of 478,000 global searches for "Holidays in Malaga".

This city in Andalucía is known for its idyllic beaches, rich culture, and delicious cuisine, making it a popular choice among travelers. Forbes journalist Duncan Madden explains that while Madrid may be overshadowed by Barcelona, the latter's status as a tourist-packed hotspot has made it a less favorable option. Instead, Malaga is attracting visitors from far and wide with its beautiful beaches and free attractions like La Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle.

In addition to its appeal as a holiday destination, Malaga has also proven to be a lucrative location for property investment. According to recent data, property prices in Malaga have risen by 10% over the past year, with demand for rental properties on the rise. This makes investing in Malaga properties an attractive opportunity for those seeking to build a real estate portfolio.

The Ministry of Transport, Movement and Urban Agenda reports that over the last three years some 20,342 properties have been sold in Malaga versus 11,614 in Marbella, 8,863 in Mijas, 8,637 in Estepona, 5,961 in Benalmadena, 4,402 in Torremolinos, and 4,176 in Fuengirola.

The Costa del Sol has long been a popular location for international property buyers, and Malaga's position as a cultural hub with excellent transport links and idyllic beaches has only added to its appeal.

Real estate company Domus Venari is excited to see the recognition of this stunning corner of Andalucía and will be happy to assist property buyers in finding the perfect property or investment in Malaga city or in any other area on the Costa del Sol.
