Football Star Cristiano Ronaldo Vacations in Marbella

The Costa del Sol has long been known for attracting celebrities and high profile individuals to its shores and various glitzy attractions. Last week, Cristiano Ronaldo chose Marbella as the perfect holiday spot for him and his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, following gaining his fifth European title in the Champions League two weeks ago.

The couple began at Puente Romano and later dined at Robert de Niro's upmarket Nobu restaurant located near the Golden Mile. Lead by one of the country's leading chefs, Dani García, Cristiano and Georgina were joined by friends to sample his new menu called "Arcadia", which pays tribute to the flavours of Andalusia; seasoned nitro olives, white garlic and plum, pickled 'gazpacho' of beet or consomme detail, chop and smoked eel skins, among other dishes.

While Ronaldo chose to stay at the luxurious Marbella Club Hotel during his last visit to Marbella in January, this time the Real Madrid football star chose to rent a mansion in La Zagaleta to host family and friends, considered to be among the most exclusive urbanizations in Europe.
